Juicy Fruit

I decided to start juicing again - at least more than I was which was like...never.  The last time I juiced vegetables was when my Dad planted a garden and harvested enough carrots to supply the greater Calgary area.

Here's today's line up.  Apple, orange, carrot, blackberry, cilantro, kale, and spinach.

I drank half and then took the other half over to a friend who has cancer.  Hopefully it will do one of us some good.

Isn't it pretty?  I feel so healthy, although the Quiet Man just called on his way home from work and said that he has something in his brief case that doesn't belong to any of these food groups.  Maybe the juice will equal out the chocolate....hm?

By the way, I'm not eating a salad a day anymore.  You know what happens when you eat the same food every day?  You get sick of it.

  1. Hi Des,
Brenda and I try to eat healthy as well. We eat a lot of veggie wraps and drink a lot of freshly squeezed orange juice. A BIG bag of oranges is only $2 here. The fields are full of growing veggies, so everything is eaten fresh.

    1. That's probably the biggest reason that you feel better.

  2. It does look great. We have a nice juicer that hubby had before I ever knew him and it still works great but alas, it is hid away in a cabinet. Maybe I'll dig it back out after Christmas. I need to lose a few...er...a lot of pounds. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!!
